California State Railroad Museum has an extensive collection of locomotives and rolling stock. The one item closely related to logging is their Skeleton Flat Car from the West Side Lumber Co. The museum's library collection is a wonderful resource of books, photographs, technical drawings, including the Lima Locomotive Work's plans for the D & C Shay # 4.
